Tech Talk / Re: OLD SPRINT PLAN. WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS?
« on: January 31, 2014, 01:30:08 AM »
I started a Framily plan and already have 7 people on it.   Three more people can be added within the next 10 days, and will be happy to give my Framily account number to the first three that ask for it.

I am already paying the lowest amount for that plan, which is $25 monthly, for unlimited phone, unlimited texts, and 1 GB of data, so anybody that joins can get the same deal, and it won't cost me (or you) anything extra (besides the notorious amount of taxes that all cellphone providers seem to get away with).

You can upgrade to 3GB for $10, and unlimited GB for $20/month

Please PM me for the Framily account number - but only after you do your research and plan to use it - so this way other people that really need it can get it.

This plan does not include the device, so you have to buy your own.

General Discussion / DDF Hats would have been very handy!
« on: January 17, 2014, 03:24:56 PM »
There were quite a few Frum families on my Delta  flight yesterday afternoon from Honolulu to Los Angeles, and even more on the flight last night to JFK!   It was also so nice to see that around 75% of the LAX-JFK passengers in "Business Class" were Frum!  :-)

Dan - how about starting a new line of business, and sell DDF hats or something similar - so we can recognize each other in the far corners of the earth?  :-)

just to let everyone know, I'm writing this somewhere half way from NY to LA on Delta, and it works great!  Fast connection and no downtime so far...

There is no wifi over the Pacific to HNL, it only works over the continental US.

Have a great vacation everyone!

I'll decide tomorrow if I buy a monthly pass, and will add it to the Wiki above.

As far as using it on multiple devices at once...

I decided not to buy my own monthly pass - will be joining the one above.

Have fun & safe flights to all !  :-)

I am looking to get on for the 16th and the 26th of January let me know via PM if it works for you.

Anyone know if it allows you to use multiple devices at the same time like an iPad and an iPhone?

I'll decide tomorrow if I buy a monthly pass, and will add it to the Wiki above.

Can I access Gogo from two separate devices at the same time?

You are not able to log onto two separate devices with the same credentials simultaneously, however you may switch between two or more devices. If you are planning on switching between a smart phone and a laptop, you must purchase your Flight Pass on the laptop.

I'm leaving tomorrow morning, but I won't be able to take advantage of the current wiki list.   Are there any people out there (besides shidduch) that also can't get on the current list because their date was taken already - within 30 days from tomorrow?

They are not transferable and there are unconfirmed reports that there will be bouncers at the door checking ID's.

Dan - can you make an exception in this case, where it would be so much easier for people in NYC to go to the 5T than Teaneck?

Tech Talk / Re: Sprint "Stupid-Phone" List (Complete?)
« on: July 19, 2011, 12:10:02 AM »
They are all pretty terrible.  People on our plan pretty much have the rumor touch, lg remarq, and the samsung seek.

Nobody is really thrilled with it, but they work.
I actually like the Samsung Seek!
