That makes sense. If I pay the in-site restaurant using the credit card, it may not post as travel related. If I charged the in-site restaurant expense to the room, then pay the hotel invoice using the capital one credit card, chance are they will be travel related. What do you think?
Makes perfect sense to me!   They don't itemize the charges on the credit card bill for a hotel.   It is all billed as a hotel expense.

Yes that should work.
Most likely it should work, but it really depends how the hotel classifies that charge when they post the credit card charge.   If it posts as "travel" then you're fine.   If it posts as "food" or anything else non-travel related, then it will not show up on the list of possible credits.

To use points to get a credit - you can only choose from their checklist of items that they determine is eligible - other charges will not show up at all on the checklist.

You receive a membership card for it?
There is no membership card for Global Entry - it is linked to your passport.    You scan the passport at the kiosk, scan your right hand, and off you go...

In addition, there is a little sticker they put on the last page of your passport to show the customs guys (that's the long line after you pick up your luggage) that you're entitled to cut in front of the line.

What points/miles do you have?
AA - I already have a business class seat the next day, but am trying to make it one day earlier.   I call almost every day - and they should just give it to me so I'll stop bothering them    :)

By the way - if any of you are Israeli citizens - you can sign up at the TLV airport for their expedited immigration hand scanning.   You get a swipe card (as opposed to here where you swipe your passport) and then you bypass the lines by immigration - and it's totally free!

Not much - you have to show up in person, and that's when they set up the hand scanner.

I signed up for this a while ago - oh well...

Besides the hand scanner that let's you avoid the passport control lines, they also put a little sticker in your passport that lets you go to the front of the line by customs (after you get your suitcases).   The only problem you'll have is all the mean stares from passengers that you are cutting in front of   :)

Check out the comments.
The best one is that if girls go to seminary for two years, they will know more than the boys, and that will lead to Sholom Bayis issues...

You can try and find someone who is already a member to add the alert.
Thanks!

I know I've seen this before, but what sites are there that can notify you when an award seat opens?   Are there free trial offers & which one is recommended for a novice user (like me) that is trying to find one seat in EL AL business (using AA miles) on a particular day (8/28 from TLV-JFK)?
