DL offers free changes into an e-voucher

If Delta cancels the flight will they give a full refund instead of e-voucher?

On yom tov the Churva shul has an amazing vasikin minyan. They sing every word of hallel out loud. Its really incredible. I think they do the same on Rosh chodesh, but dont know if they do it on Rosh chodesh Av. If you are there Rosh chodesh that is something I would research

Definitely rent a car if you are going to go outside of Jerusalem. You can accomplish a lot more that way

Like stated above Ein gedi, masada (would do Sunrise and definitely in the summer!) and dead sea can be done in one day. Ein gedi actually has the the generic one hour hike that everyone does to full day 8 hour hikes (and you will hopefully get lucky and get to see some ibex!)

The bullet factory is really cool and a great off the beaten path stop (central Israel)

Rosh Hanikra is really beautiful and worth a stop. Thats up north literally on the border of Lebanon in the galil

If you are there only one shabbos has to be Jerusalem. For the second shabbos I would say toss up between Tzfat and Chevron.

Looking forward to reports of 2nd draw SBA approvals via various lenders :)

Just got approved! Thank you @cgr for all your help!

If you had confirmed antibodies I would think you're pretty safe.

Problem is that antibodies can decrease with time. My wife had Antibodies in May and now has none. I still have antibodies. The 1% chance of getting stuck in MX for 10 days (and the stress/uncertainty involved) made me move up my trip

180 a person for a rapid? That's expensive. I googled and in playa the hospital charges 999 Mex which is roughly $50 but I guess if you dont want the hassle of waiting and traveling it might be worth it

Not sure if it's a rapid or PCR

Yep according to CDC rapid antigen is also ok which makes it easier. Im being in Banyan Tree returning Jan 28, so where do I get this test? Will Banyan Tree help me with this?

Im sure they will have something worked out as a service or just google for local test.

I spoke to Banyan Tree and they said a doctor will come to the hotel and do a Covid Test for $180 a person.

What's the plan if someone tests positive?

But on the slight chance that one of us tests positive, I'm not willing to take that chance so I changed my reservation

Please feel free to add resources to help everyone.

I just booked 2 appointments for my parents through this website for tonight.

As far as I saw there was nothing else available at the moment. That probably will change though.

Anecdotally I am hearing many booked today at Maimonides and at beth israel on kings highway. I don't know how to sign up for those - its not through the link I pasted above.

The Bushwick location had availability opening up throughout the afternoon. Had to keep refreshing it, but both of my parents got vaccinated today.

This link as well

As well as this.

Yup he is great. Always helpful. Someone should add him to the Wiki

I messaged him but he is based in Cancun proper not Playa del Carmen. SO while that helps with transport from the airport, it doesnt help if I want to go to to a restaurant. Does anyone have a driver if I am based in Mayakoba? @damaxer91?

And again.... all those self employed ppl here on the forum, speak with your accountant about the possibility of setting up payroll and employ your spouse in your business as a w-2 employee. If gross receipts of ur business is down 20% Q1 2021 vs Q1 2020 and You pay your spouse 10K in payroll (for real work) you will get back $7,000 and the same is true for Q2. (You can not use PPP funds for it) Its $14,000 easy money.

Can you clarify this? Is this the ERC? Would this also work for S corps?

Which hotel is nicer? The Hyatt Ziva or the Hyatt Zilara?

Two questions.

I see on the forgiveness form a place to put in if you received the EIDL advance. But it doesn't say anywhere on the form where you include that amount in your calculations! Are you supposed to subtract the amount on line 9?

I am an S corp and I pay myself payroll. Am I considered owner-employee? Would that mean I can't include state and local taxes in forgiveness? If I cant, can I raise my salary? Or include distributions (that go on a K1) into forgiveness?

Im a S-corp and I usually write myself a check (or transfer into my personal) every 2 weeks. My accountant wants to switch to a monthly payroll schedule because since the forgivness loans arent clear, he wants that extra 2 weeks to get clarification. He says that the bank wont know that we used to have a bi-weekly payroll (as it based on last years 940 and 941) last year. I hear what he is saying but I also dont want to rock the boat with something unusual (monthly payroll not as common as bi-weekly, maybe they will ask for last year bank statements?).

Am I overthinking this? Is it better to wait and just do a monthly payroll and get clarification? My PPP loan was funded 2 weeks from tomorrow so if Im going to insist on a bi-weekly I need to cut a check tomorrow.
