In other words do what it takes to stay in Hyatt

Also looking into Kaui hotel options. Hyatt is $700+. Any other recommendations? Is the Sheraton nearby worthwhile at all ($400)?

Tech Talk / Re: Porting A Number From Verizon Without Closing Account
« on: October 11, 2012, 05:09:04 AM »
Is it possible?
Yes. Just call and tell them what you want to do. They will refund the early termination fee for the closed line which you ported, and reopen it with a new number.

In my experience they won't
So what did you do?

They do, even though I never picked up my SIM card from their service center
So if I walk into their store in tachane merkazit Jerusalem with an American CC and no T.Z., they'll give me a SIM on the spot with no problems? The website requires a T.Z. at both sign up and delivery.

ground floor in side corridor
According to their website they also have a store in tachane merkazit, which is more convenient to get to from the city center (just hop on the light rail).

yes just did it. malcha mall
Thanks! Seems to me this is the best option for occasional visitors, since you can switch to the no monthly charge plan when you aren't in Israel.

Switched, corp. discount and all features carried over seamlessly.

Well than go for it I haven't tried them out really but I have what's app and like it and my friends who have had others like it the most
Kik Messenger is not as popular as WhatsApp, but is much faster and requires invites, so more privacy than WhatsApp which adds anyone who has your number. Its exactly like BBM. Doesn't work well on BlackBerry but its the best on the other platforms IMHO.

Please elaborate

so far, is the orange 125 shekel the best deal for blackberry?
Just pointing out that if you use less than 500 combined minutes and SMS, then it's cheaper to go on the orange 25 agurot plan. Unlimited BIS data is another 39 NIS on any plan.

Since the flow of the thread was completely ruined by the awkward merge, i am repeating my (and another poster's) question:

Has anyone successfully signed up for HOT Mobile or Golan Telecom without a teudat zehut?
