Correct.

Can it / Does it need to be changed to real name prior to flight?

Yup, I just had this issue a couple months ago.
The supervisor just asked a bunch of ┐arbitrary? questions and then let me through with an extra pat down and baggage check.

Took about 10min total, but I was in the PreCheck line...

I actually find it disturbing that it's possible to pass through security without an ID

You can board a flight without a passport, TSA will ask a bunch of questions and you should be set.

I assume I'm too late, did it work out?

Very useful info never know this. thanks!

Yes b"h frontier employee disappeared for 20 min and came back with the passport (he found the suitcase and it was in front pocket so he didn't have to bring the whole suitcase)

DO Israelis flying back to the IL need a negative covid test to board, even if they have a green passport?

In MIA my sister sent her passport in the check-in bag by mistake. She has no other ID. They are saying they are looking for the bag but I have low hopes.

Any ideas?

No. They blocked all the space so they can assure all the passengers booked to EWR are rebooked on the JFK flights. Once everyone is accommodated, if there are any extra seats, they will be for sale. But before they go on sale, they will likely go to clear waitlists

Thanks for the info. What happened to the EWR flights

El al is not selling flights TLV-NYC for the next week after Monday, does that make sense?

Was booked on TLV-EWR Wednesday early am, they moved to JFK Tuesday night, was trying to find a diff flight and I see non for sale...

Do you think they will end up cancelling all flights?

It's not a hit or miss, it depends on your situation. Renewals going to Texas (including NY residents) are already delayed a few months. I haven't seen any data points about renewals going to Philadelphia, but if they're anything like new applications sent to Philadelphia they'll be processed right away.

So if I'm applying for a new passport for a newborn it will go to Philadelphia and process quickly?

Khal Chassidim has been open since Purim with complete disregard to guidelines despite the request of local rabbis so it isn't surprising

Please don't generalize based on your experience as at least for some period of time that was not the case
