Is it permitted to book an itinerary like this? and how much should it price out in business saver

NYC-LHR leaving 06/01 10pm arriving 06/02 9am
LHR-AMS leaving 06/02 9pm arriving 06/02 11pm
AMS-TLV leaving 06/03 9pm arriving 06/04 2:35am

there is no stopover over 24 hours here but since there is a connecting flight, assuming all flights are avil will they book it?

Credit Cards And Finance / Help disputing a UNITED charge on my Chase CC
« on: December 23, 2014, 02:22:02 PM »
In October i booked 2 one way awards TLV-NYC on united.com, it was within 21 days however i used my United Club Card Visa to book so the close in fee should be waived

After a few days i noticed they charged me $77 or so twice for the taxes (which is fine) but there was another 2 charges of $75 each

so i checked the booking receipt email and hidden in there it says they are charging me $75 close in fee

I called united they said i need to submit a refund request on the webiste, but there is no option to pick "close in fee" as the charge so i picked something similar and was denied with a generic response.

I called chase to complain and was transferred back and forth until one rep got united on the call as well and asked why they charged, they told him it's the computer and if it charged me they cannot refund. he argued a little but they wouldn't budge so he told me would take care of it and get back to me. of course he never did

as last resort i disputed the charges with chase, and of course got a letter 2 weeks later that dispute was denied because i needed to contact united

Anyone have any idea how to tackle this one? i am close to giving up but it's a $150 rather not lose it if possible

Thanks

I want the formula results to show only when there are values in the cells that are being calculated

so the rows that i haven't added any values yet should not show anything (although the formula is active on those lines) until i enter values

Any idea how to do this?

Up In The Air / LY-AA Flight where should i post the miles
« on: March 18, 2014, 05:30:21 PM »
A few family members are traveling TLV-NYC-TLV on an LY issued ticket that includes travel on AA for the Paris-NYC Legs

I would love to post miles to BA so we can share them in our account. can this trip be credited to BA?

if not, than i guess only other option is AA. how do i find out how many miles they will get, and is there anyway to combine family accounts with AA?

Deals/Deal Requests / Mobile Hotspot- Need advice
« on: March 18, 2014, 04:34:44 PM »
I need to buy one, but trying to avoid the $30-$50 monthly fee

I already have 2 lines on tmobile, for $80, and adding another line (sim card) is only $10 per month, so i am thinking of getting the sim card, and buying a hot spot on ebay. anyone know if that will work? or will tmobile know that the sim is in a hot spot and charge me more?

also how about compatibility, are there any specific models for tmobile?

Keep in mind after a year they may try to charge your card full price for renewal unless you ask to cancel, so use a gift card or something similar

Up In The Air / Singapore Airlines TLV - NYC One way Award Help
« on: September 24, 2013, 12:53:33 PM »
I am trying to follow this post
http://www.dansdeals.com/archives/23168

"Bottom line: American Express points transfer to Singapore faster than they do to ANA. Plus with Singapore miles you can fly on Singapore from NYC to Tel Aviv on Singapore to Frankfurt in business or first class and then to Tel Aviv on Lufthansa which you can’t do with other miles. Additionally you can book one-ay awards and change and cancel fees are very low."

I can only find availability on SQ flights (FRA-NYC) but no LH flights or any other partner for that matter. How do i book the TLV-FRA Leg?

Up In The Air / UA economy award to business award and back saga
« on: September 17, 2013, 04:39:44 PM »
So me and my wife were booked on saver economy miles for united EWR-TLV
40K miles each plus $75 for booking

I kept checking for business opening with no success.
Today at the airport an hour before the flight I saw a opening for 3 seats saver business, so I called united and ha them switch our awards to the business or another 20K each plus $75 change fee
Phone rep said confirm, I saw the charge went through on my card and miles deducted. She said to get new boarding pass at the gate.

We got o the gate, agent says not possible I have no seats in business, they are oversold i dont know know who did this for you and on and on blah blah blah. I told him I just did over the phone so he called them was on the phone with them for 20 minutes and said he has to push me back o economy and will refund te extra miles and charges.

I am kinda pissed now we got all excited after getting upgraded and was confirmed so I'm not sure what is happening.

And to top tho all off, since we were with the gate agent the whole time, by the time we boarded they forced us to check in our hand bags saying no room (there was plenty of room)

Any ideas what I can expect to get as compositing for this whole deal?

(Now I also have 40K UR points stuck in my united account)

I am writing in my phone before takeoff so bear with me for typos
