Part 1 is monitoring or $125.

Part 2 is time spent. $25 an hour up to 20 hours. The reason you keep hearing 10 hours is because that's how much you can claim without showing proof and it's hard to prove you spent 20 hours when you didn't...

Part 3 is actual (tangible) damages.

So you're saying they will give $375 to anyone who claims without any proof?

$125 + $25*10

Where does it say you claim the $125 for damaged caused? You just can't make stuff up to justify it in your own mind.

If you start the claim process you will see it does say very clearly that the $125 reimbursement is for your time wasted related to the breach. $25 per hour up to $10 hours (not sure how that adds up to only $125), so clearly nothing to do with having paid for a credit monitoring service.

So I think the only ethical question is if you didn't actually spend any time related to the breach.

Actually, I don't see LY on the standard form to claim missing points.

Looks like it needs to be done manually via email, not sure worth the risk

Claims for all other partner airlines need to be made to the Frequent Flyer Service Centre via email to frequent_flyer@qantas.com.au. You will need to include original boarding passes, copies of tickets along with any other supporting documentation confirming your entitlement to the missing points.

because there is aisle access from both sides the reason they require the window is in case of emergency the car seat shouldn't block u from getting out.

There might be some seats blocked. Try calling Elal (or Whatsapp in Hebrew). Was your infant booked as infant or child?

Booked as a child with his own seat. There are many blocked seats so I sent them WhatsApp to put us in those.

Interestingly, I found on elal website that car seats are allowed in the middle seats of the middle section

WhatsApp worked great! Thanks for that, and I now have a seat. A little annoying that even if you are using English, they still answer in Hebrew. Not an issue for me, but I found it strange.

Used it as well very convenient. It seems the service is not officially available in English but of course most reps do understand English

I bought my 1.5yo a seat flying elal booked with Qantas
We are bringing his car seat for him to sit in, however there are no window seats available

From what I know a car seat must be in a window seat for safety reasons, any idea if this can cause us issues? Is it worth calling to have them somehow put us in a Windows seat or is it a waste if time?

My understanding is that EL AL tickets need to manually ticketed/reviewed and the office that does so is not open on weekends. Its possible there are other issues as well.

I was told the above by a rep.

Just Booked NYC-TLV in Econ got etickets instantly from qantas, but elal still says needs to confirm payment. is that an issue?
