Is there a Taxi/Car service that can pick up a family from LAX tonight that can come with car seats in the car?
If there's a private person here that has a van and a car seat and would be interested in doing it, feel free to PM me.

Idea: Everyone that bids has to pay regardless if they win or not but you only have to make one payment per auction so that way you arenít more than doubling your obligation with every additional bid. The final price will be lower but the total amount to the shul very well might be higher

Any daily Minyanim for Shachris near industrial park that start anytime after 8:45? Currently the closest one I know of is Belz and it's not really close.

when you refinance you can choose the title agency to handle title and closing

The lender's title company they are offering would do it for 2200 plus 350 recording fee

any recommendations for a quality and less expensive title agency?
I was very happy with Capital Abstract 732-364-1121

Alexsei,
I printed out your diagram on a graph paper, to increase accuracy.  But my calculations are still rough.  The exact angles of the turns and other lengths were approximated.
I got 363 square meters.
Can you share the formula used?

I emailed to Hamodia and tried to post online, but so far we can't figure out who's Tefilin are these i feel bad, i wish i can find the owner to return them. If anyone recognizes them, or has any idea how to publicize that there is a pair of Tefilin that we can't find the owner please let me know. I can be reached at

Ask the gabbai who made a Bris there over 8 weeks ago. Ask those baalei simcha....

For the record, "Go n Bananas" is great, especially in the rain. It's like Chuck e Cheese and ice cream kids(Lakewood) on steroids. Cooler, Funner, Bigger etc.

I remember you once posting instructions on how to do that. Can anyone post the link? Thanks

General Discussion / meet "Beam" - a new high APY fdic insured bank
« on: August 24, 2017, 09:35:10 AM »
What's amiss is why don't all banks offer such amounts...
B&M banks have lots of overhead.. but online banking should be competitive..
Cost of compliance shouldn't differ that much between online and B&M. The reason all the small banks are selling themselves to the regional and nationals is not because they can't afford the cost of brick and mortar. It's because Dodd-Frank is just too expensive to comply with.

Note that this article is from NBC, not exactly the anti regulation type. But sometimes the truth is the truth.

General Discussion / Real Estate Business
« on: August 23, 2017, 08:27:33 AM »
you think so? it's 5 or lower in NYC, LAX, SFO / bay area. that's 20mm people give or take
I was thinking in terms of real estate not people. And even in those 3 cities a 5 cap is still considered a low yield. The reason investors buy 5 caps is for other reasons e.g. value add, asset appreciation or just a safe place to park money etc.

done mix up 5 cap and 5% and no in some neighborhoods a 5 cap is what everyone is gettting now
Don't try to normalize a five cap. It's unheard of for 99% of the country.

Isn't 5% considered low?
Yes. That's exactly his point. Guys are saying that they can close even on properties with low returns, but then don't live up to their talk.

Any reviews on iscream kids?
Adults, and kids who don't know how to walk are free. It's $9 per kid and no time limit. There are also arcades but you have to buy tokens separately.
Very large jungle gym area. Ball pit. fake little hospital, salon and workerman areas. and more. For the right age can be alot of fun. In the front of the store you can get Ice cream, pizza and fries.
