Everyone seems to be addressing this topic from the credit score standpoint what about the effect it will have on credit history

yes, but do not pay them off until your statement has posted. once your statement has posted with a balance, that means it has been reported to the credit bureaus. then pay it off any it helps your credit
+1 visa signature which has no preset spending limit, instead reports your highest balance to calculate your utilization %. I once made an $11,000 purchase and paid most before the bill posted and and only a fraction got factored in as my credit limit

On the other hand, in the days when most people paid via check (vs CC, billpay, ACH etc), the bank was always able to see to whom people made out their checks, as is the case today.
Couldn't see for for what though

Wont this run into legal issues for example if I pay a doctor bill and my cc co. Sees an itemized bill would that go against HIPA laws

It feels a bit invasive for my cc co. to see not just categories and amount but exactly what I buy

I don't think Chase checking accounts help AFAIK, not unless you have a banker put in a good word on your behalf. She is eligible for Chase exclusives on the Freedom and Ink cards though.
How would he do that? Does he put a note on my account or do I ask him to call for me?

Would the cost of converting aeroplan miles to other airlines through be cheaper than the cost of fuel surcharges?
