The 3 month wait time reccommended to wait between card apps, is that from the date of application or approval? (if they were different). Or does it really not matter?

Also, I waited 6 months on last, can i go straight to 3 months? or gradually go to 5, 4, etc.?

Huca 2nd time, still not willing to approve ip or mp biz. got 6k approved on ib. they can't transfer credit to open the others coz ib is a charge card. should i close the ib and open the ip instead to allow credit to be shifted to open the mp?

(i may already know the answer - no - coz the mp needs 5k minimum and i'd only have one to move)

so whats my next move? what GOOD reasons are there that i need the others? spliting biz expenses isn't really working

I just did the same thing. 3BM Ink Bold, Ink Plus and Mileage Explorer business.

All 3 got "needs further reviewing"

Got IB approved after first call to recon. Others got denied.

Does that mean I can't HUCA anymore? By accepting the IB does that mean case closed?

Also, during the 3bm one didn't go thru for technical reasons, so I quickly repeated it and put it in within 5 mins, would that've caused another pull?

Credit Score 745. Last card i got was freedom 5.5 months ago. Want to get 3 citi cards next, should i wait til a full 6 months passes or is 5.5 enough? And is the 3bm still safe?

I flew via istanbul since the flotilla and had no issues. I'm gold with united and the lounge there is BEAUTIFUL.

Something else interesting happened on that trip. I was flying tlv-ist-jfk and paid about $800 one way for economy but I received premium economy (they call it comfort class). I booked through kayak and selected economy so have no idea how. Also, there was only me and 2 other people in the whole cabin of about 40 seats. I looked behind the curtain and behold there was a full economy section packed.

and the seats were amazing, like a business seat.

There's no 'one-size-fits-all' answer.  Just about anything you do might be helpful for some and unhelpful for others.

What you can do is apply some general principles:

1. Older AU accounts are better, because they will increase your average credit age.  If the account is older than your current average credit age, then that's going to be a positive factor (which again, does NOT necessarily mean that it's going to increase your score overall).
2. Higher-limit, lower-balance AU accounts are better, because they will show lower utilization on your credit report.  If your utilization when including the AU account goes down (versus without the AU account), that's also going to be a positive factor.
3. Having several AU accounts is probably better than having 1 or 2 (since scores tend to be higher with more accounts on your report), but that's probably diminishing returns and I won't go overboard just for the sake of having a ton of accounts.  I'd focus more on factors (1) and (2) than number of accounts.

thanks.
How long til those tips help to increase my score? Every month? and kaboom? or is the improvement a slow process?

With adding SSN as AU, Is it the more the better? Parents card, friends with good credit etc.?

thanks. my credit score is 717 (freecreditreport.com) wouldn't that be high enough (for at least their lowest card) and all amex would want to see is history? 5-7 is awfully long
