Anyone know where I can rent a net stick in israel for a week?

Not really - Cuz if you buy it on ebay, and if you get double extra bucks, (with bill be later) or get the extra bucks + CC points that would be more than a $25 savings. So I would still buy on ebay for $650 over any random person for $625

real-brisker has a little of a point - that a $25 discount over the ebay price is not much. Usually I have seen here on DDF that people that are trying to sell an item (that they would sell on ebay) would offer it here less the ebay fees.
Yes, that's my point.

I m not saying there is no risk buying from a non elite member (even though there are some elite members I would not buy from anyways) but $25 is still a saving and how much the seller is making (or in this case, saving) on this transaction should not be a factor for you to consider when purchasing. If you have been on DD long enough, I am sure u have been able to see that there are not only $100-$300 deals posted every day on the main page but also $1 diapers / cheap cereals and many other savings that are just a couple of bucks each.

In my opinion, a deal is a deal
Bad comparison to diapers.

Everything works in proportion.
Here $25 off isn't even a 4% discount.

Thats a joke!

what u r saying just does not make any sense... we are the ones buying... whether we buy on DDF or on eBay doesnt matter we are still paying 625/650... the fees only apply to the seller, good for OP if he finds someone willing to buy outside of ebay!
Sorry, I disagree. Buying outside eBay is a risk. Especially from a non-elite poster on DDF. The savings must be significant enough to take the risk.

Also don't make it look like your doing ne a favor by discounting it $25, I am doing YOU the favor by saving you $100. Face it, who needs who more.

ebay is selling for 650, i can sell for 625
Why the need to make a fool out of yourself?

Being in the eBay field for years, I can tell you (and certainly "Name Changed" can) that the fees on a BIN for such an item would be over $65, and paypal would be close to $30. And all your offering is a $25 break?!

Learn who your talking to before you post.

+1, what they might of meant is, that they will give you the same plan rate as they give for non kosher (125). The only geneiva is, that its the same price and you kosher doesnt even use web and sms.
maskim on the geneiva part.

Orange offered me to get the unlimited non kosher plan, and keep my kosher number. (I will just have to transfer my kosher number to a non kosher sim card)

My question is, people who call me what will it count for them as? A kosher phone call, or a non kosher one?

anything yet ? did u find any other cheap virtual number providers ?
Tymue best I found was for .06 a minute, by localphone.con and . In israel you won't find a better pack, as the way israeli cell phone companies work, isvthey bill the caller instead of the reciver, that's why all incoming is free.

I believe galpaz owns the rights to many albums as does mostly music.
I know when I was in galpaz in israel they had a list of cds that they could sell you just the digital version. Otherwise they would only load something directly on to your mp3 player if you purchased the actual cd as well.
why would they do this??

its not a scam, its not legit - its THEFT

i'd ask a shaila and possibly with their p'sak report the store to the dist. company and artist...
Thats what I meant with A SCAM!

General Discussion / Does this classify under a scam, or is it legit?

A friend of mine went to a music store on Friday to purchase a music CD. The CD was for sale for $13. Biketzur the cashier offered my friend to download it to his iPod, without purchasing the CD for just $5.

Is this legit? To me it sounds like a complete scam on the cashier / store owners part, that they are selling the music and pocketing the cash. My reason to think so is, I highly doubt it costs the producer $8 just for burning copies of the cd. It probably doesn't even cost $1 for the actual printing/coping... It would kill the producers profits if they would allow such a thing!

Has anyone heard of this? Or is it a local scam? I told my friend they may as well just have copied it from me for free!

@real-brisker how did u settle?
thanks for asking,
Nothing yet

However I am waiting to see how golan will turn out, as they have unlimited international
