FWIW my kid's pediatrician was just telling my wife that he doesn't understand why people in the frm community aren't taking the flu vaccine already.
Says he's already seen three of the potentially fatal strain in his office this season, and the virus hasn't really hit CA yet.

Why don't you just ask them to shave off some credit from existing lines and create a new line that way instead of requesting new credit
I tried. The rep told me that any changes would need a FR. You can't move credit with the bold (according to him) because its not a crdit card.

how many accounts do you have?
Only 6. and that including a shiny new amex plat and an ink bold, which are technically charge not credit.
I do have a revolving credit of about 150K not including the amex plat.

Just got the following rejection from Citi:
Why we're writing you
 Thank you for applying for a Business Card account.
 Unfortunately, we are unable to approve your application at this time because:

 o   You already have the maximum number of accounts that can be issued to an individual.


I don't have any cards with them currently, so I guess they mean in general. I had applied for the Business Card, so I guess that qualifies as individual.
Anywhere to go from here?

Just curious - how much were you doing?

From what it seems to me, doing big transactions is asking to be shut down.


depends on the month, it wouldn't be unusual to accept 3K-4K a month.
The first transaction over 1K is what froze us.

I went through this, was able to provide all documents, and they released the funds a week or two later. Email was the only effective communication, I don't recall if I tried twitter.

Call them now, don't even wait for the denial letter or call from them. They definitely need more info from you.

I called, they said that since I have over 100K in credit extended any new app will require FR including tax returns etc. Is there a way around that?

I'm hoping someone can help me with this -
I have several Chase card: Sapphire preferred, United Explorer, and Chase Ink Bold.
I just applied for a second Ink Bold for a different business, and got the 'we''l let you know by mail' answer.
What can be done to expedite and /or put in a good word for myself?
I use the first Ink Bold card for all business expenses.

Pretty sure you're mistaken... Unless you're essentially the sole exception. 
I could be wrong. I've been using the same logon for many years, for personal accounts. I got the Ink Bold, and still use the same logon, but the top of the screen looks like this:

Business and Personal >Business Only > Personal Only

Dunno. I guess what works now is whats important
