In general, for all of those asking for food options, especially in a non central hotel, postmates is a must.
Psy is amazing.
Paprika is consistently a very solid option. Good food, very generous portions. Smallish menu, but everything is solid. Lunch or cheap dinner.
Charcoal is pricey, but has a very decent $16 lunch menu

Is there anywhere even open past midnight?
On Sat. Night u have a few places , but during the week 11pm is usually the latest.
Charcoal kitchen closes at 12 I think
Brunch menu is on website. Lots of nice options. All you can eat! I would go to Dr.Sandwich over Taeem, but Taeem is good.
Great list! Agree on bibi's. Taeem and Dr sandwich are two different animals in my opinion. Both good.
Curious how it would work to move most short halls and regional flights to a different airport and keep long hauls and international at LAX. NYC does it with LGA and a couple of airlines do it it MDW.
It'll never happen. LAX is the #1 busiest airport in the country for arriving and departing passengers. With no room to make a new airport anywhere near anything touristy, no one would fly to it if they tried. LGB and BUR are way too small to become what LGA is to NYC. ONT is too far from everything.
All true. But Burbank is a fantastic airport, especially if you are in the valley or La Brea, if they happen to have a flight where you're going. And JSX is next level, there's nothing like arriving at the airport 5 minutes before your flight and still having time for a cup of coffee.

(Or are they buying an additional seat near the baby's seat?)

Do you need to buy the ticket with the first name EXST?
What about booking that extra seat for a family member, so they can get mileage for the flight. Will the gate agent let you scan in both boarding passes if you explain that you bought the 2nd seat because you need 2 seats?
I think international and passports makes it messier.

Let us know how it goes :)
Will do. It's for a family member traveling with a very fussy baby and wants the extra space. She thinks three Y > 1 J. I'll convey the information, but I have a feeling she'll want to go revenue on this with a TA to be safe.

Thanks all.
Per Dan, at least on AA: "just make the first name EXST with your last name"
Seems to be an AA thing. Can @Dan or anyone confirm this works elsewhere?
https://www.elal.com/en/More-Info/Pages/Extra-Seat-FAQ.aspx
Classic elal making it as complicated as possible
I am not a T/A but with a miles ticket there is a possibility they will cancel one of those tickets if they have the same name. They will think you duplicated it by mistake.
That's my concern. Or, with LY, both
I seem to remember one airline recommending adding a middle name "X" e.g. John X Doe
Logical.

Why cant you do the same as booking a cash ticket?
Honestly, I've never done it. Just put the same name on two seats?

I wonder if an unintended consequence of this could be tipping FL & TX to the D side with all the NY, NJ, CT, and CA liberals migrating there...
In Texas a poll showed that people who moved to the state from CA are more conservative than natives.
Link isn't working. But many are unaware that the entire state outside of San Diego, San Francisco and Los Angeles is very conservative, with an impressive republican congressional delegation. The people moving to Texas are often those folks, the ones that did well financially

1. Why do I get the feeling that OP had a Taavah and is trying to use Avodas Hashem as an excuse to justify it?

2. While there might very well be therapeutic affects to psychedelics, that is only applicable to treat certain conditions. There are numerous examples of medical treatments that could kill a healthy person (RL) but are used to treat terminal illnesses. A distant correlary of this would be (lehavdil) Mei Chatas used to purify someone who is Tmei Meis, it purifies the impure and makes Tamei the pure. What Im saying is that while LSD might help someone whos addicted to Opiates, that doesnt mean it has any therapeutic benefit to a healthy person and might very well be detrimental.

3. OP has a username that seems to have been created specifically for this thread, in an agenda driven way. Two additional posts in this thread, are from other first time posters who are supposedly subject matter experts on the topic writing in support of the OP. Highly suspicious in my eyes.
So this is what it takes to revive you?

I want to book a empty seat next to me. Is there a way to do that with points? How about through the UR portal on LY?

Hotels often do not recognize status on 3rd party bookings.

1) Will the Andaz warm up meals?
2) There was no rewards availability, booked through UR for a whopping 47k a night. what are the upgrade chances? 20/50/100 $ trick is helpful?
