Install a smart relay that will shut the power to the doorbell?
Ok, thank you.  How do I go about doing that?  What should I buy?

Tech Talk / Disabling Ring doorbell for shabbos
« on: November 08, 2018, 06:09:10 PM »
Hello All,
I recently got a Ring doorbell but realized today that even if I turn off the motion alerts, the device will still record motion and will turn on when someone approaches it.  The only way I can find to turn off the motion detection is by turning off all the zones for motion detection in the "motion zones" section of the app.  Does anyone know of any easier ways to turn off motion detection that would allow me to put it on a schedule rather than having to remember to turn it off every shabbos?  TIA

Hate to be “that guy” but I think $10 is very fair compensation for 1 minute of your time that it took you to place the order.  That comes out to $600/hr! Wow, I wish I made that much. Take what they give you and move on. Don’t bother their supervisors.

Don't all jump in at once.

Why would someone want to buy something from a cook who is sick?
ok  I think he meant "sick" as in really good cook. As in "the graphics on this game are sick."

On The Road / Labor Day Weekend Getaway
« on: August 21, 2017, 06:45:16 PM »
Looking for a place to go Labor day weekend for 8 adults and 5 kids.  Preferably within 2 hours of NYC.  Minyanim are a must.  Sefardi minyan would be a nice added bonus.  Not looking for suggested locations, looking for specific houses.  Private house preferable over bungalow colony.  TIA.

You can try for the grace period claim. Loading your car would be lying unless you were actually loading your car.

Destination Guides And Trip Planning / Chabad of San Francisco
« on: May 01, 2017, 03:35:41 PM »
Is anybody familiar with this Chabad?  They provide shabbos meals but they have no hechsher.  Is it reliable?  Does anyone know of anywhere else to get shabbos food in San Francisco?  I apologize in advance if I posted this in the wrong area.
