Sure.

Also, I think it is the 2L not 1.5.

Cvs has the 1.5 liter coke for $.99 this week. I walked into my cvs and it was the kosher for pesach one.
It's actually 75 cents if you get the extra  25 cents off coupon form the coupon machine. See the back pg of the CVS circular (http://weeklyad.cvs.com/cvs/default.aspx?action=entryflash&)

Deals/Deal Requests / Re: Any sales on white non-iron shirts?
« on: March 13, 2013, 09:54:45 PM »
The David Leonard shirts are on sale at Emporio for $49 (reg $65). I know that's still expensive but I think they are the best non-iron shirts.

I was at the GHK a few weeks ago. It was amazing. Thanks Dan!

In regards to the Luau- Do not do it. It was probably the only activity on our trip that wasn't amazing. You are basically paying $200 ($100pp) to watch everyone eat pig.  The kosher meal is from Oahu Kosher. My wife and I got steaks which we could barely eat with the plastic cutlery. Some of the dances, like the fire dance at the end, are pretty cool but, in my opinion, still do not make it worth the money. Also, when the forecast is for rain they move the Luau inside which may change the show a bit.

I believe Costco only has variety packs. If you want a specific flavor then your best bet is the dollar deals at Target.

Anyone have experience with ground/air Canadian borders?
I just took a Lulav (checked Esrog) on the Cathay JFK-YVR-JFK with no issues at metal detectors or customs. Cathay stored it in the first class cabin for me.

Destination Guides And Trip Planning / Re: Vancouver Master Thread

It's worth driving 4.5 hours round-trip for 1 night there? What's there?

The drive is 2 hours max and there are nice places to stop at like Shannon Falls. It's not so bad. To tell you the truth, I have only done Whistler without my kids, and done awesome ATVing, whitewater rafting, crazy mountain biking, and hiking. They are all awesome! But, in terms of activities with an infant, you may be limited to just the hiking and walking around the village. Still will be really beautiful views, but may not be as exciting. Personally, I would still make the trip.

In terms of Vancouver itself with an infant, you should check out Stanley Park and the sea wall. Its a beautiful park right on the water with an aquarium and many other activities around. I believe there is a trolley that goes around the park. Also, hit up Capilano suspension bridge (hold ur baby!)and grouse mountain. Take the gondola up. Oterhwise just stroll around downtown Vancouver and Robson street. Should be a very relaxing trip.

Metro or within 1 hour.

You can't go to Vancouver and not go to Whistler. It's a 2hr nauseating drive, but well worth it.

I would do 2-3 days Vancouver and 1-2 days Whistler. Make sure to go in summer months, where it is probably one of the best climates anywhere, otherwise lots of rain!

Yes, I believe it is at every Target. I went to the Target in Westbury. I bought 80 bottles (it's all my wife and I drink) and got $40 in gift cards which the cashier allowed me to use for the rest of my groceries :)
