Up In The Air / Re: Air Serbia $275 NYC-TLV
« on: July 26, 2020, 01:33:53 PM »
My experience.
No good news to report.....yet.
Air Serbia said it's a Etihad ticket.
Etihad said if AS flight is available the travel agent should be able to book it, or issue refund. Chase travel confirmed this but obviously no flights to Israel now.
Already two months ago I asked Chase travel for refund and they sent request to Etihad.(relative's tic who isn't going to Israel any time soon). Nothing happened.
I called again last week, and Chase said they'd send request to Etihad and could take up to 10 weeks. So I filed DOT complaint. We'll see what happens.
Currently no AS flights to Israel, so sitting tight with my other tix.
thanx for the report. keep us updated pleas
AS stands for Alaska Airlines.

I called Chase travel today and got a refund.  The trip was on Air Serbia to TLV on9/21. You just need to get the right representative who knows what to do. Maybe asking for a supervisor will help or just try again. Called around 5 PM EST.
was there any magic set of words that u used to get the refund?

im getting told they can only refund what the airline allows in their policy
and everytime i ask for a supervisor im told "i am the supervisor"
