They never factor in that those who go to bars smoke at a higher rate than the general public.
this is pure racism and bigotry or whatever against bar goers. do u have any source of statistical value to back up this horrible accusation?

There are two elements to racism. Often both ideas are mixed together, but they are distinct.
a) the belief that a specific group of people is superior.

thats not racism (not that i know what racism means)
if i believe that japanese are the smartest bestest nation in the world (which most nations believe about themselves) am i racist?
if i believe that brisk students are the biggest lamdanim am i racist?
if u had to bet on a boxing match between a guy from Bed Stuyvesant and a bochur from bnei brak w/o any other knowledge about the contestants, which side would u bet on? does that make u a racist? or an anti semite?
fact is that for whatever genetic reason there are smarter groups, stronger groups, etc.
there is nothing wrong with believing that

If you recall Korach didn't like it.

he was fine with the concept, he just thought it was meant for him

You could have chosen the line of poor, fatherless, or uneducated and had the same result.
if i see a white man with torn jeans and broken teeth in a dark alleyway i get nervous as well.
most people dont have signs on their forehead stating if they are fatherless or uneducated.
AA are pretty easy to spot.
@AJK didnt order the research as to AA crime rates, just happened upon them on google.
after hearing this info, he gets worried when he sees one in a dark alley, does that make him bad?

(they pay u direct?)
not the case, although even if it was, amex cant know that

One of the reasons I never joined BG is I don't know where it ultimately goes to (care to explain?). I can't see how BGs are sustainable unless it involves loan shark or money laundering.
very simple program, sales are limited and retailers cannot purchase thousands of items at sale price, so BG sends out lists of items they want, and buyer buys them at sale price, gaining points/cash back (amazon 5%) sometimes with a small markup.
i cant see a reason why if run well it shouldnt be sustainable and legal.

Sure. If I tell my daughter I will only give my approval if she marries a white person is that racist?
what if u tell her u only want her to marry a man, are u also damned to the liberal version of hell?

I think it was reopening is rare.

Mr depending on if they claim points abuse can be used for 30/60 days

Any idea what triggered dw's closure? Many cards quickly? Many upgrades/downgrades? Many refunds? Bounced payment?
none of the above
just in the past we used to use other ppls checking accounts to pay bills, after DW shutdown i stopped that.
amazon biz card was used heavy on BG's

the sad news is even if you separate from DW, this will still stick to your SSN.
i think god forbid that would be a drop sadder
u think i should try finding someone with a clean amex record? ;)

Depending on what DW did. Still no clarification from you on how was her cards paid. Did either of you get FR before? How much MS or giftcard purchases?
Paying from a 3rd party account is red flag. However, I don't think it's uncommon to pay for family members. What might be the case is paying from too many different account, even all of it under your name.
Your closure is collateral damage, anyone who shares your address with DW will likely get shutdown too. The sad news is even if you separate from DW, this will still stick to your SSN.
Time to say AMEX goodbye your lifetime (which maybe 10 years under AMEX definition)
me and DW did light churning on delta cards

its 10 years at least forsure?

a few months after my DW, my turn came.
i got that dreaded email saying:

We want to let you know that after a recent review of your American Express® account(s), we have cancelled the accounts referenced above because one or more of these accounts, or other accounts to which these accounts are linked, have been identified as not being used for the intended purpose.

i called them to ask why, they said we reserve the right to terminate etc. blah blah blah...

1-anyone has any experience getting them to reopen?
2- will i be able to use mr?
3- will they want now a clawback on bonus points for cards opened within the year?
