Re: Did You Get The Flu Vaccine This Winter?
Some hospitals require employees to get shots and even provide it for them. A hospital is there to TRY and make money, so I do not see the point in spending money on vaccines if they do not truly find them effective. I think the cost provides them with the benefit that they know it will keep their patients from acquiring it from the staff (which they will have to pay out of pocket because it is hospital acquired).
Reminds me of this xkcd:

Re: Gentlemen: Charge your shavers! A Chassidishe Ma'aseh just to stir the pot  8)
A few American boys once approached Reb Itche Masmid (A Chossid of the Rebbe Rayatz who came to America to collect money/distribute Chassidus), asking him if they can shave during the 9 days Lekovod Shabbos. He looked at them and said "Lekovod Shabbos?! It's Lekovod yourselves! Shabbos doesn't want you to shave!"

Re: "Ex-Hasidic Woman Marks Five Years Since She Shaved Her Head"
Btw my wifes was taught that the reason why married women cover their hair is because now the hair is special only for the husband, and not for others. This explains how hair can all of a sudden turn into an erva.
I like this explanation, I wonder how the shavers/extreme coverers explain it.
As per how R' Cheikin taught us, that is a cutesy rational meant to make the Mitzvah more pleasant, but has no bearing to the actual observance of the Mitzvah, much like saying that keeping Kosher helps us stay healthy and keeping Taharas Hamishpachah helps our Shalom Bayis...

Am I the only one who finds Photoshopping pictures of Gedolim like that to be nauseating?

Re: Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park
Just want to confirm, that it is kids accessible "even with a stroller" Also, is it safe with all the wildlife there?
Much of Yellowstone is stroller accessible.

You should be fine with the wildlife as long as you don't do anything stupid (read: taking a selfy while riding on the back of a bison is NOT a good idea...)
