Thanks, but still not much data to confirm. Also someone mentioned buying a Southwest ticket for close to $100 and canceling within 24 hours works, and no claw back, anyone tried?

Happened with me on the BBB and a claw back was done 2 months later, received an email .

Your a little late to the party. Using fivebacks to pay off retailer cc’s was where the action was at a couple years back.
Been there , done that with fiveback,  , my question was not about this.

No, but the cove does. I stayed there recently and it's worth the 60k/night. it's fully renovated and gorgeous. The guests at the cove have private pools and a private beach which makes a huge difference. Of course, you can access the water park if you want.
I just checked the dates now and it's mostly available.
+1 On the Cove, stayed there a couple of times cash bookings, very nice experience.

I highly doubt it. Macy’s tracks everything by form of payment and refunds and/or adjusts for all coupons, discounts etc.
Thanks, then as most other retailers, if the customer used Macy's gift cards for purchase , they issue the refund in Macy's gift cards?

Lol. From email seems like 25% on CC partners is only from thank you points.

ETA: Scratch that. I thought you wrote MR...
Was not there one with MR lately?

I assume you're referring to the Blue as a worthless card?
I only have an SPG with Amex. I wanted to APPLY for the Gold Delta but not really sure I will want to keep it once the AF kicks in. Wanted to be sure it can be downgraded.
Yes, but if you only have SPG with Amex, then it is a good idea to downgrade to Blue later on. I am maxed out with Amex credit cards that is why I would need to close one I do not really care for to apply for a better card.

Can the Amex Gold Delta be downgraded to a non-AF card (such as Blue Delta)?? Sorry if there's a better thread for this question, couldn't quickly find one! TIA!
Yes, but it is kind of a useless card, might be better to close it and apply for a better card if you already have the max number of credit cards with Amex, if not, the downgrade is still a good idea.

What is the difference between Nordstrom's T&C for such thing and a HC fare which is also against the T&C of the airline company? If you look at the money side, Nordstrom is not loosing so much money, just the cost of putting back in the inventory (the items are in perfect condition). When an airline price a ticket higher than another is their willingness to sell at this price only, because it's a direct flight.
Does it not work at Macy's too?
