General Discussion / Re: looking for gas in queens

gasbuddy.com has a special section for hurricane sandy; it tells you which gas stations in whichever city you enter have gas. And people are constantly posting and updating.. If you have enough gas to make it to the Westchester area then I recommend heading out there.. only like a 20 minute ride from kgh and my friends and I had success out there.., You pay for the whitestone but you don't have to deal with the craziness in the city..

True. I checked gasbuddy.com/sandy & I'm having very little success in my are, I have been checking it often & thanks for your suggestions.

It's been time fo a while to get rid of the electoral college.

100% correct but it helped Bush beat Al Gore.

Anyone apply for a business loan, even without sustaining actual damage?

Is that even legal to do?

Anyone know a place around Brooklyn that I can rent a refrigeration truck today?
I need a refrigeration truck badly today. Anyone know of a place that would rent it?
& If you can provide phone numbers that would be appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Anyone know if when opening up a Bluebird, does the Serve account have to be closed, or just the card? I have a few k sitting in it, and enjoy the monthly spend I have on it.

This is an exact quotes from an answer that Dan answered someone who asked the same question in the comments on the home page "You need to first close your serve account. ".

Also I have question. I know the limit is $500 but after I load the Blue Bird account with the money from my Vanilla Reload card, Do I have to buy a new VR card to add more money onto the VR card can I use my old VR card since it's empty after I transferred the money to my BB account already?

pay with cc?

I didn't buy one & I forgot to ask them.

Was just wondering same thing!! Where can i get a VR in brooklyn or nyc? Possible at all?

I was at a family dollar in Queens yesterday & I saw that they had them there.

Credit Cards / Re: Chase checking coupons

Has anyone been able to use a Savings coupon to open a savings account online? All the coupons I've used so far won't let you use them unless you go into the branch.

What do you have against going into a branch? What's the issue with going into a branch?
My point of view on these matters is, do what it takes to get it done if you want it badly enough.

...but some of us have 5 & 10% cards for G/G/D.  ;)

How do get a 10% card for that stuff? Which card?
