A few early reports came in yesterday that Walmart's register accepted cash or debit to initially load them but credit wouldn't work, so YMMV.

There's your answer, unless they change it, this is not going to solve one's problem with wanting to pay bills with a credit card that you normally can't.

Since when do we believe reps?

At this points it is unknown whether or not walmart will accept cc, although an alternative would be to buy vanilla reloads with a cc. . .

Is there any fees to buy vanilla reloads? & do you know for sure that Bluebird will accept vanilla reloads?

The question is basically when it's paying for a bill for you, does the company that your paying the bill to need to accept account numbers or can bluebird send out a physical paper check for you?

You might have a hard time selling this, because not only are you charging $8 for shipping this small phone but it says that the shipping can take till November 7th to get to me. That's a long time from when the bidding ends. That's over 2 weeks possibly till it will arrive. I mean this is just my personal opinion, but when someone sees $8 for shipping for this item they will think okay at least it will come fast & then they check & see that's not true, they could be very disappointed. But again, all of this is just my personal view on this matter. I hope you have much Hatzlacha, seriously.

100% correct. Which carrier is the phone from? Is it brand new?

to be honest, its an art to sell on ebay,
 
a big thing as a buyer on ebay is returns and shipping (though i got more lax with the returns as long as i have ebay protection/amex) but free shipping is crucial, to me.

but the real thing is to me - STAY AWAY FROM EBAY! between there fees and pay pal theres very little mark up, i would suggest craigslist, or put a listsing on ebay to look at ur craigslist page, ebay just eats up ur profits,

A couple things, regarding your point on that as a buyer shipping means a lot. All that depends you can have a guy sell an item for $20 & have free shipping vs. another guy sell the same item for $15 with a $5 shipping fee. They both equal the same amount. Also it used to be that ebay & paypal wouldn't charge you their fees for the shipping cost, so what people did is charge very little for the cost of the actual goods & charge the rest in the shipping fee. But ebay & paypal caught on & now that method no longer works.
But your right that between ebay & paypal your paying close to 15% on the gross price. So unless you have a huge profit margin it can hurt to list items on ebay.
