Up In The Air / Re: Infant Travel
« on: July 13, 2020, 09:49:52 AM »
If I have a reservation for me and family besides for the baby using Ana miles on United flight, would asiana allow me to book one leg for the baby on the same flight using their miles? The other legs I'll be paying 10% of cash price as a lap infant. The issue is that one leg is extremely expensive if paying cash, and asiana has a great mileage rate on that flight.

They are getting entry permits under Masa. Misrad Hapnim confirmed it, in addition to all the hoopla created by the chareidi MKs.

18
Masa is saying that if you apply through them you can get a student visa, even for unmarried students.

This is true. The chareidi politicians are angry about that because Masa doesn't work with yeshivas in general.

rep is mistaken

Why not go through your institution?

That's what the rep told the institution.

Married and have a student visa. Wife has accompanying-student visa. Misrad hapnim says that's not good enough, and she needs a student visa too. Is that true, or is the rep mistaken?

Is there a link to get the application the yeshiva must submit?

Which airlines are currently flying into Israel? From anywhere, not just US.

Based on the current rules:

1) Specifically says "to the extent that they were deducted on 2019 Schedule C", so no.
2) That's the whole point of the 8/52- so that there's no allowance for bonuses to SE individuals.

If he only submitted an estimated schedule c , and now revised it when he actually files his return, I don't see why he can't use the new amount for forgiveness. Will it raise flags is another question.

Slow down.

PPP is a (potentially) forgivable loan.
If you applied for EIDL and got an advance (they were giving $1k per employee, up to $10k), that is yours to keep.
If you got an EIDL advance and PPP, the advance is deducted from your PPP forgiveness.
An EIDL loan is not forgivable.

Itís too late to apply for an EIDL loan (unless you have an agricultural business). You can still apply for PPP.

I received PPP already, and was wondering if I can still apply for EIDL. I guess the answer is no.

25
Is there any forgiveness? I remember people saying something like 1k per employee..

26
Sorry if this was already answered. Is there any additional benefit for new apps for EIDL in addition to ppp loan forgiveness?

27
Can US consulates still process new passports?

No big, just open hundreds of new schools....

Obviously that's not going to happen, but that should be the negotiating position against schools that are charging full price and providing meager services.
