Pretty sure that was a slip of the tongue. I was actually surprised that they got the kosel/hard habayis fairly accurate. Most Jewish sources don't get that correct  ::)

I'm pretty sure the high tide is all gone by January. It's usually just November, so even if this year it's longer, I would think January would be fine.

Everyone is saying it doesn't make sense financially to open a warehouse here, and they'll never do it. Why else would they offer this promo?

Look at the picture of the suite - on the right side of the bed :)

Chabad is in S. Juan. Vieques and Culebra are two small islands off of Fajardo, which is about an hour drive from S. Juan.
When I went, it was a a bit last minute, so there wasn't much available on the islands in terms of where to stay. I ended up staying in Fajardo, and taking the ferry to the islands.

How did you manage that? On what kind of items?

How about a few packages but each to a different child's name

It would go by the id for customs in the Amazon account.

Doesn't Amazon guarantee it's the max you'll pay, or is that an exception?

Considering a trip in March. Is that a good time to go?

Also, looking at the Courtyard Isla Verde (Bonvoy Cat 4, have a few anniversary nights...) and the Hyatt "Resort at Coco Beach" for 12k points/night. Thoughts?

March is great, but I strongly recommend going to Vieques and/or Culebra. They are by far the nicest parts of PR.

General Discussion / Re: Importing a car to Israel on a student visa

Any updates on extending the allowed time for students for cars older than 4 years? I would like to bring in a new car, but have it renewed if/ when I renew my student visa ends.

I used to be able to find plenty of seats - economy and business -  to Brazil and Argentina. On some routes I can't even find one seat in business on any date. Forget about 2-4 seats.

I booked Hilton TLV as a back up, and just checked after shabbos and WAJ opened availability for this week, so I was able to switch my reservation before midnight. Thanks guys for the tip!

It does.

A week or 2, or a day or 2? I have a cert expiring 9/24, and want to use it 9/22 or 23. How far can I play chicken?
