Completed spending on 8/19 and statement closed on 8/22. No bonus yet and I don't remember it ever taking this long.

All IME -
Normally you get it when that statement closes.  However finishing the spend that close to statement end will delay the bonus until your next statement close.

True, but exactly $504.95 x 3 in one quarter might not look all that great in Chase's eyes...

...but with that said, I've done it a couple of times on multiple cards.

A return is a return is a return.  It doesn't matter.  You returned it to a Visa so you will have those points subtracted to from your total.  You have no grounds for a dispute.

Next time might I suggest processing the return on to your debit card instead?

yes. and it is referring to double points for booking through chase.com/ultimaterewards
Exactly.

However, you still get 2 UR points by booking with the hotel directly.

Sorry, your post was ambiguous and I wasn't sure which 2x you were referring to.

Changes coming to the INk / Ultimate Rewards program...
Effective the END of 2015, hotels and airfare will only net 1 point per dollar, as oppose to the 2 you get now...
but there's a long time till that goes into effect.

Someone mentioned upthread that whenever you call recon it extends the application for another 30 days. Can anyone else verify this?

It did for me back in April.

just FYI, i made my minimum by like Aug 12, but statement close was Aug 20, i called 12th and begged to credit early and they refused, but i got my emails on Aug 23, 3 days after close, so maybe if u beg u can get somewhere...

No need to beg.  IME, certificates come to you X amount of days after meeting the minimum spend requirement, regardless of your statement closing date.

And from the wiki:
Between 1 and 3 1/2 weeks after statement close.

Any recommendations of how much of the spending for biz plat 150k can be done through ms without having issues? I know that amex does not like ms with business cards

I can't imagine any issuer liking MS with any of their cards, but I digress...
"Issues" with AMEX is YMMV.  It's based on your spending habits, stated income, limits, MS method, and a host of other factors.  I can do $5k/mo using the standard MS methods spread across all my AMEX cards with no problem, whereas a friend got FR'd for doing $1k in AP.

She called over manager to void the transaction, and the manager didn't even look me in the eye.  There was no confrontation or argument   I just left.  Thankfully, I stopped in a walmart outside s Louis, and n00b cashier was happy to oblige the load.

I think some people here could learn a thing or two from you.

Such as?
You just need to convince them why you need all three cards.

+1.   Convince yourself first.  If you can't convince yourself, you won't convince them.

I tried, however they are persistently telling me that I have sufficient credit, and every time I HUCA they read the notes and ask me if anything has changed since I last spoke to them  >:(

"I understand that Chase thinks that I have sufficient credit.  To be honest, I agree.  However, I'm not looking for additional credit.  I travel frequently with United and would enjoy the benefits that would come with this card.  Would you be able to take $5000 of existing credit from my Freedom card to get this United card opened?"

Has anyone had success getting approved from a rep that says 2 cards per 30 days?

Yes.  My last two Chase 3BMs started off the same way (November 2013, April 2014).  It took some persistence (three calls for the third card) and some BS'ing, but I got it done.

From where are the funds extracted when using a target dc?

The checking account that the DC is linked to.
