not a problem, as long as that person isn't sending back to you.

YMMV.  Been working for me since day one.

The wiki says it will give my Hyatt plat. Does that give me 15 night credits a year? How can the benefit me as a current Hyatt diamond?

It does not give you any stay credits, just a bump up to Hyatt Plat.  If you are already a Hyatt Diamond, it will not benefit you.

So $25K of MS and you still need to fly a ton (do award flights even count?)
No, they do not count.

Can't find a more appropriate thread.  Does Chase do a hard pull for a checking account?

They shouldn't, unless you apply for a line of credit by using their overdraft protection feature.

I am trying to register my ink bold card with "visa saving edge" and its telling me that my card is not eligible, would anyone know why?

Are you trying to register a Mastercard instead of a Visa?  Beyond that, I'm not sure why you'd think any of us would know - why not go straight to the source?  From their website:

For inquiries about enrolling in Visa SavingsEdgeŽ, including password resets or username changes, please contact Visa Global Customer Care Services at 1-888-466-9227. Customer service representatives are available Monday through Friday (except holidays) from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM EST.

Is it risky to use Serve's bill pay to send yourself a check?

When I tried to look at my transactions I got this
It doesn't happen often, but your posted transactions are unavailable. Please try again later.
What does it mean?

It means exactly what it says.  There's something temporarily wrong with their system.  Chillax, and try again later.

Harder then if I would have applied directly for the Club card.

Have you heard any reports of people not getting the AF waived for the first year on a new Club card via SM?  I haven't.  But then again, I stopped following it after they waived my AF last month :)

Then use a different card?

Sure, but the question was asked and answered in the "Chase A/A Master Thread", so one would think that the OP was asking in this thread because he was concerned about getting A/A'd by Chase by making those purchases.

Because if the cc people ask, you have a legit reason that doesn't have to do with taking advantage of the them.

The problem is that with Chase, they don't ask.  They just shut you down if they don't like what you're doing.  From there, it's a next-to-impossible chance of getting your cards reopened.

I think VGC from Staples on ink. Will only work at ATM (most likely) though. Limit used to be 1k per day, 5 per month. Not sure if that's changed.
And remember to register the Ink card with Visa SavingsEdge to help minimize the fees.

Looks like Bluebird now loads at WM are $1999.99 per day (previous of $1000.00 per day). Less trips to Wal-Mart for all!

Cash (includes Swipe Reload and Reload Packs)
$2,500 per day** (**Up to $1,999.99 per day at Walmart registers)
$5,000 per month

Who here is loading their Bluebird cards with cash?!?  But feel free to let us know when the debit card limit gets raised.

Totally miscalculated and was off by a month on spg biz and the bonus did not post any point in fighting for it?
-0.5.  I took a page out of Mesh's book and was able to get them to honor a SPG bonus (look for his thread/screenshots in another AMEX thread...maybe the Biz Gold?).  Total YMMV though.

Credit Cards And Finance / Re: Starwood AMEX Master Thread

I signed up for the SPG Starwood Amex card and received it in March before the Consumer card window shut. Amex says I can't get the 25k bonus because I have another card open although my previous bonus was more than 12 months ago. Any suggestion?

The bonus clock resets when you close the older card, not when you received the bonus.  Since you never closed the older card, according to their T&Cs you were not eligible for the bonus.
