That's not the point....

Understand, just saying the guy is selling it on the cheap, if there is nothing in return.

15k x 1.1 which is the low side.

One can easily get at least 1.5 value using CSR.

BW1895.  Iím kinda new here but Iím Hyatt Globalist.  Are you offering free nights to help you with status?  I know thereís a triple points promo and you can get some nice bonuses for higher status.  I figured that you could get about 100k points and two free nights for about $3400 using the promo.  Iím happy to do a staycation on your dime to get you the points.

+1

I see.

They do earn elite credits though......

Elite credits are only valuable when needed. Once reached, it has no use.

the easiest way is to book with points, call up switch to certificates and then cancel the un-needed night

Good idea!

Not true. Hyatt officially allows gifting them. Thats the idea of guest of honor

Seller specifically said "booked on my account", not gifting. There is a difference.

How are the gift cards delivered and redeemed? Will they only work for prepaid bookings, or can they be applied during Hotel check-in/check-out?

Use of this card constitutes acceptance of terms. Certain purchases (e.g., hotel stays) may have a minimum
age requirement. Card may be applied to eligible purchases at participating Hyatt hotels in North and South
America (for a list of participating hotels, see www.hyattgiftcards.com). Card may not be used outside of

crew rates, payments for meetings, catering or group functions, negotiated rates (including volume, group,
contracted, or other rates that have been previously negotiated and agreed in writing whether paid on a
group or individual basis), and goods/services purchased through or provided by third parties. All other
purchases made at participating Hyatt hotels are eligible. Card is issued in USD. Value of card will be
converted into local currency for redemption at hotels that use currency other than USD (at the hotelís
established exchange rate). Card carries no value until activated. Card is not returnable, refundable or
redeemable for cash, and may not be resold or transferred for value, except to the extent required by law.
Lost, stolen or damaged cards will not be canceled or replaced without card number and proof of purchase.

most likely not

Agree and it is YMMV.  From my experience, no. It did not count into primary guest's stay credit.

Personally I'd still rather do an AG, but good to know.

Hi @Dan, Is AG still good for overseas stay booking?
I see a comment from another website. Is that true?
