Thank you all for ur responses. Points are not the issue. just its 2 parents and 7 kids and it would be best to have them flying all together.
So book 1 adult & 6 kids on first booking, and 1 adult + 1 kid on second booking

Friend stayed there a while ago. He said the grounds were stunning. The local grocery there actually had some kosher food stocked, surprising as it may sound. I will try to get you more details shortly.

Thanks.  For flights or for hotel as well?  I could stay in Ft. Lauderdale, I just figured with all the restaurants and minyanim in Miami it would make more sense to stay there.
I was referring to flights. Miami beach is widely considered the headquarters for most frum visitors to the area. However, you can stay in ft lauderdale too and you're not far from minyan and food.

Was concerned as well, needed to be in the Miami area so just booked there because no choice but Trip Advisor has countless negative reviews.  I spoke to SPG today and the representative told me the hotel was built in the 50's and they did a small refurb a couple of years ago.

If award flights are better into Ft. Lauderdale, does anyone know if it's a major schlep to get from there to Miami?
if you get a renovated room, it's not terrible. But don't expect anything fancy. It's a basic hotel. IMO most ppl prefer FLL over MIA, even with the extra distance.

What upgrades can I get as a gold member?
Upgrade to ocean view room should be expected. They don't really have suites, so nothing to look forward to there. And make sure you request a renovated room. I don't think they got to all of them yet.

When did a photo become just something to show off with and rub in friends' faces? I remember when a picture was for one's own collection, to keep the memory fresh for the ppl that are actually in the photo itself. Thanks fb and insta! :(

So I repackaged into a box ( don't ask me why that is better)
They took it and scanned it but there is no tracking update as there's already prior tracking ,it already shows delivered in Brooklyn.
Will tracking update because I need it for ebay protection?
Did you see the clerk scan it, and/or did you get a receipt? Then it's scanned. Their system could take hours to update the tracking. Give it time.

Pre-paid Shabbos meals - Rare vs. carriage club (kikar tel aviv)? Your thoughts?

56
You can reuse it. Same label. Just have the clerk scan it as accepted when you hand it over.

57

They could do that, If it has already tracking and says out for delivery for my address (sender) ?
Yes. Best would be if you hand it to a window clerk and explain that it was returned for postage reasons and are now re-sending, and have them scan it as accepted into the mailstream.

What about voiding and reprinting will they refund?
Not sure if they will refund once the tracking has shown movement - even though it was returned.

58
If you can remove the label intact, just repackage it into a thicker padded envelope or small box, and reapply the label onto the new package. Then take it to a window at the PO and explain that it was returned to you and you would like to re-send. Have them scan it as accepted when you hand it over.

59

I dropped it into box,  would it come back?

Why does it need to be thick?

It's Postal regulation. No point in trying to figure out the reasoning behind it..
They'll probably deliver it anyway. Small chance they may return it to you. Follow the tracking :)

I am not sure how crowded it will be when you go, but I had no problem finding street parking around the corner from the hotel.
But street parking means you have to start feeding the meter at 8am IIRC...
