Yes it has to be at least 3/4" thick to be considered a package. Letters can't have tracking. So just repackage it into a padded envelope and you're good.

I read the terms and conditions extensively. I'm pretty sure it said something about 1 room up to 5 nights max. Additionally, it only applies to standard room redemptions, not suites or upgraded rooms. Just FYI. Good luck!

Has anyone been to the St Regis Bal Harbour over Shabbos? I read Dan's trip notes from 2012 - he mentions there may be some automation in the rooms and throughout the hotel (lights, thermostat, doors etc) and may not be ideal for Shabbos. Any info on this?

Is that the Sheraton on Collins? If yes, besides the above question, do they have regular keys as well? Or just electronic.

Yes, they do have regular keys. Just ask for it and give them some time to have a maintenance worker come up and disable the electronic lock.

I highly recommend Machlis for both the experience and the food. Just don't be in a rush.
Thanks for the info. I meant more like a hotel/restaurant style (like the plaza). Are there any others with good food?

I'm looking for Shabbos meal options as well. So far I've heard of meals at lenoardo plaza, which was said to be very high priced, and meals at lev yerushalayim, which is a cheaper option. Any recommendations or other options? Thanks!

Do you have full tracking on the package, that will show delivered when he gets it? If so then just upload the tracking and hope for the best. Be sure to mention in the case that it takes a lot longer than 17 days for international delivery.

If you don't have full tracking (with delivery scan), then persuade the buyer and eBay that they need more time for delivery since it is international. Try to show them any proof you have that you shipped it to the right address, and the date shipped (i.e. receipt from post office, or screenshot of online shipment receipt/endicia etc.). In a case where there is no full tracking, and the buyer still says he never received it, you will probably lose the case. Bottom line is - tracking is your only proof of shipment/delivery. Always use it when it's cost-efficient.

Good luck!

I plan to stay in the Tveria area and was wondering about the kashrus of the hotels in the region. I know the Kibbutz Lavi hotel is glatt/mehadrin, but I was wondering if there's anything nicer that offers a good breakfast with a decent hechsher. Of course the topic of hashgachos in Israel is complicated to say the least, but any help would be appreciated. Just to give you an idea - I would eat cholov stam...

Any advice on using a GPS to get around Israel? Both around Yerushalayim local, as well as for long distance trips. Is there any one car rental or company that offers the best, most up-to-date systems for rent? Thanks!
