I don't see any such flight departing after 9pm.

Pro: You can do 2X dinner in EZE  :P

Earliest we can leave EZE is 9pm. Only EZE-USA flights will arrive on time.

EWR, JFK, IAH, MIA, ATL, etc.
Depends how you define "on time".

There's a Copa flight arriving NYC before 1pm.

That's a fallback option? Get on a flight there and stay shabbos?
Not sure what you're asking, but yeah you can fly EZE-PTY-NYC and get to NYC before Shabbos.

Fly to and from EWR on a Friday? Do I look stupid?
Who said anything about flying?

You'll be with him in EZE.

Where did PTY come in?
Just another *A option.

There's more than enough leeway on option 3 to not have Shabbos issues.
With either option, weather in NYC will disrupt getting home for Shabbos.
Not if the weather kicks in later in the day.

Assuming there's space after a cancellation...
He has Dan with him. Duh.

What does (i) mean?

FWIW, a flight from EZE-EWR has a much higher probability of cancellation in December than EZE-IAH in case of NYC weather.
From IAH he could fly to alternate airports (PHL, etc) to get home in case of NYC airport issues.
Right before the holidays.

He can always fall back on EZE-IAH/PTY etc.

Saying that redeeming for a J bed that won't fit him is a no-brainer because it's nonstop is ridiculous.
I've seen him fit into tighter spaces. Actually, not sure fit is the right word...

Either way, I say option 1 as well considering that it's a (i) busy Friday (ii) during the winter (iii) in NYC and if anything goes (stays?) south he'd be away from his family for the 3'rd Shabbos.

Band of Brothers was great, but you're the first person I've heard that enjoyed The Pacific. It got such bad reviews from people I knew that I didn't even bother watching.
Seen it a long time ago. It might not be on the level of BoB, but I thought it was great. Seems to be rated pretty well.

I'm gonna let that slide until you watch some legit GOAT contenders. It's not a movie, but you should absolutely watch Band of Brothers. IMO, nothing else really compares in the war category. As far as movies, you specifically want WWII, or any era of war drama?
Yep. The Pacific is terrific as well.

I don't know what T&C means, but i noticed that there is a discrepancy between the old and the new website, if you look at your profile on the new website you see like this.
T&C = Terms and conditions.

Update: it seems the executive elite status never expires.
From the T&C it seems it'll expire if you don't have the required activity in 2019.
Yes

Sickening. Every one of those guys screaming Nazi should be required to spend a day in a Holocaust museum.
+1000!

What a disgrace using that term like that!

Destination Guides And Trip Planning / Re: Where Should I Go?
« on: October 05, 2018, 02:10:26 PM »
I haven't been on a trip with just the Mrs. and I in over 3 years, and may have a week we can go somewhere Sunday-Sunday at the end of October.

Open to any suggestion of where to go/stay.

(Some background: We are leaning towards Barcelona/Mallorca/1 other Spanish city. We want to do South Africa at some point.)

Thanks!
Would be way too short for South Africa.

I'd say South America makes more sense than Europe for a Sunday-Sunday as it's pretty much the same flight time from MIA with the added benefit of no jet lag.

You can do Patagonia or Atacama.
