I have a 7 night category 5 certificate but I would like to stay at a catergory 8 hotel.  Anyone have a Category 8 certificate to sell or trade+cash?  Does anyone know if it's possible to upgrade these?

Is there any way to upgrade a 7 night certificate from category 5 to category 8?  Spoke to CSR who said it's not possible.

Alas, they don't carry the Big10 network so we can't watch the game there.  Kosher Deluxe does though so we're gonna go there.  More affordable too.

Thanks for the suggestion!  Looks like the perfect place.  I called them and they said since we are a large party I need to email them.  I will make sure to specify in the email the game we are interested in watching.

I'm taking a group of teenagers to NYC this week and we're gonna be in Times Square on Thursday afternoon.  The kids are big Maryland Terps fans and want to watch their game in the afternoon so I'm looking for a kosher restaurant or bar (kid friendly) where we can eat lunch while watching the game.  Prefferably a reasonably priced place but I understand this is NYC.  TIA.

Called Recon?
They may manually waive the bag fee, but YMMV. Won't happen automatically.

I made a few mistakes lately and my credit score dropped so I knew I wasn't gonna get approved.  I'll fix my score and apply again on or around 3/18.  I'm flying in July so I have time, just wondering at this point.

My wife got approved for the card, I did not.  If I get an employee card and I'm flying without my wife can I still get free bag/priority bording?  At the airport how do they know who is the primary card holder?

Landing in Warsaw 4:15pm leaving the next day at 3:25pm.  Should I stick to Warsaw or try to also get in another city as well?

I'd like to book the following trip:
IAD-->BCN - on UA using UA miles
BCN-->WAW-->TLV - on LOT using UR points

The 1st leg is intercontinental so I get a free bag but on the 2nd and 3rd leg I do not get a free bag.  Since UA and LOT are both Star Alliance is there anyway to combine the tickets after I purchase them so I can get a free bag all the way through?

I think the only places that sell a full selection of takeout for shabbos are Kosher Gourmet, Savour Fresh Market, Toronto Kosher, and Ely's Fine Foods. All will be a minimum of a half hour drive each way from downtown on Friday afternoon. I don't know what time they each close.

Call those places first because aside from savours and maybe kosher gourmet some of them might not have things like challah if you're looking for a full shabbos. (Maybe Ely's too, never been there...)

If you don't want to do the drive, I think kosher gourmet is on doordash, just check with them that they do doordash orders on friday afternoon.

If you're really stuck, I think Anshei Minsk might have shabbos meals, if you're staying near there. Def would be an experience (they get a diverse and sometimes funny crowd) and might not have tons of food, but maybe as a backup.....

Arriviing in Toronto Friday afternoon, staying in a hotel Downtown.  What's the closest place to get takeout for Shabbos?

One way/Round-trip: Round Trip or One Way on the return
Non-stop/Maximum stops/Any: 0
Departure dates: 11/23
Return dates: 11/25 - would like to arrive in 1pm-4pm time frame - closer to 4 is better
Class: Coach
Seats: 2
Available Miles: MR, UR, UA, DL

I found a Delta flight that works for the way there so a One Way for the return would be fine as well.

Did $4500 in MO the last 3 days at Giant. Still working there.
Has anyone had issues buying GC at CVS lately?  Last time I went cashier told me no CC purchase allowed. The day before a different cashier let me do $2k.  Been back a few times since but it's always the same cashier so I haven't tried again.

Is it possible?  I have MR, UR, and SPG.  I searched on Chase and the hotel I'm looking for didn't even show up but maybe I'm doing something wrong.
Hotel is called The Pillar Hotel in London (Golders Green area)

just because the system let it go through doesn't mean it was allowed. You still had to hide the fact that it was a gift card.
Debit cards with your name on it were allowed.

I never had to hide it.  How could I possibly hide the fact the I was purchasing $16k in MOs and was using 32 different cards?  Perhaps you are correct that there was no language that said GCs were spcifically allowed but since it didn't say they weren't allowed then officially they were.  Were there any DPs that people were denied using GCs prior to the memo?  At Walmart a manager can make whatever decision they want but the USPS is a Governmant agency so they follow strict policy.  They wouldn't tell you it's not allowed because there is no language stating such.
