I have a 10.5 hour layover in paris from 7:15am to 5:45pm. How much time should I give myself on the return to the airport?
And what can I reasonably see in that time? should I start at eifel tower?

I was a bit disappointed no japanese food either. But what you can you do. At least it's hot and it's kosher - and not instant noodles..
All three chabad's will arrange meals (Kobe + 2 x Tokyo). Mendi doesn't do sushi AFAIK, maybe the other chabad does...
Mendi does do sushi- at least last summer he did. you just need to give at least a day of notice to the chef.

Assuming you are buying a night off some Shloimy or Chaim and you show up as the 2'nd guest, request a double bed and also ask for a baby crib you're gonna have some check in girl scratching her head in wonder at the orthodox gay couple that also has a small baby.

Better to request from guest services who don't know/care who is staying in the room.
that isnt the problem. just the more the front desk looks into a reservation the more questions may be asked. dont think they care much about gay couples, let alone Jewish, checking into hotels.

Very cool but surprised that the local Chabads don't try to offer some simple local dishes like Ramen and yakitori. It would be a nice touch. I remember being surprised that the Chabad in Thailand only offered me schnitzel and other Kosher/Israeli dishes.
they have awesome pad thai. I had it for breakfast every day
And Japan offers sushi- but expensive at $20 a roll

I plan on a car also, just don't know what to expect with parking (is street parking a possibility or everywhere needs a lot?).
street parking was accessible

I realized as I pulled in. It was 355 for a 520 flight with my wife and kids waiting for me. My wife may have left me if I missed the flight. I emailed them to ask for rachmanus
happened to me once as well there. wasnt a full tank, but still stings

Keep in mind that some women donít wear sheitals to cover their hair all the time. That can extend the life of their sheitals.
SHIKSAS!

High level job. Has to look put together. Itís a worthwhile investment....
I know a few people with high level jobs who spend under $1k on a sheital. and look put together.

Curious how many sheitals your wife (or you, for the ladies here) have had since marriage. Looking for number of sheitals and years of marriage.

Up In The Air / Re: Business and First Class Products Master Thread
« on: July 11, 2018, 08:19:40 AM »
Going together with wife in Cathay pacific flight. How much should I give in to go on first class over business class? The flight that has availability in first class is not the preferred timing. A different flight which only has business cabin is better timing and slightly more convenient airport as well.

From what I read, it doesnít seem as the Cathay first class is a whole different league. Is that right ? Value per point is over a dollar per point in the price difference between business and first class, but who cares ? Also as a couple going together,  isnít business class more suitable for two to sit next to each other or with first class that can be done as well ?
Id appreciate if someone can shed some light. Thanx.
I enjoyed their J almost as much as other F classes- one of my favorites.
I also almost switched my flight and glad I did not.
