LGA Lounge Question
« on: June 04, 2024, 07:40:14 AM »
I have to be in LGA for about 5-6 hours, not going to be on a stop over, but a flight in and out of lga on spirit (yes, eye roll, spirit) dropping off a kid.  I figure I would just work in a lounge for the day. A few questions, I have sapphire and Amex access to lounges, can I access terminal B if I am flying spirit? Will they let me past security in terminal b with a spirit ticket? Also, are either of the lounges Amex or sapphire, lenient on the 3 hours before the flight rule, as I will be there likely 5-6 hours before my flight out?

Book a fully refundable ticket with AA and cancel it in the lounge.
PM me for a good deal on flights

It is. So is UA.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

AC can be another option.
On that note, I've always wondered. What's stopping someone from booking a refundable biz ticket to access a lounge? Or has everyone always been doing this and I'm here waking up late?
Still looking for a good MS method :)

nothing but don't do it too often PGFHGS

Addt’l risk if u use FF# associated with the lounge.

Agree that PGFHGS, but I used to offer airport rides that included lounge access (for an added fee). The passenger checks in bags while I parked, I went straight through clear/pre-check and used this method to guest them into the lounge.

It was also great to pickup a snack/beer when me or a family member had a Global Entry appointment.
