Store won't take Amex.

Ok so I need to spend about 6k at a certain place. It would help me with my spending threshold. Without this transaction I would never make it.
The only prob is that they don't take Amex. Where can I buy 1k visa gift card with my Amex for little fees?

Many grocery chains (safeway) sell 500 Visa GC with a 4.95 or 5.95 fee.

So far I've only seen them up to $200. will keep looking though!!! Will the store let you purchase it with a credit card?
