Flying domestic. Anyone know what to do with lulav?
Just completed back and forth flight from NYC area to South Florida. Flew B6 from HPN to FLL last night after chag and had no issue carrying lulav onto plane in basic plastic bag and placing in the back of the overhead bin. TSA employee at HPN knew it was a "religious object" when I placed through the X-ray. Returning this evening DL from MIA to LGA and similarly had no issue bringing on plane and placing in overheard bin. Did get a few weird looks, but no issues with either airline counting it towards one of my carry ons.
