Price of -Samsung Galaxy S3 vs Iphone 5 for Verizon

I've been debating  which phone to get with my upgrade .. currently have a 4s but wife has a 4 ... so either way would take the 5 o S3 and give the wife the 4s ?

Wasn't sure what to get so was propably going to go with the best deal I can get being that they both are 200 .

However recently saw a deal to get S3 through Dell  for $99 plus you get a $100 dell GC (I think can be sold on Cardpool for $84)  As i was thinking about doing this today I saw that now you can get Iphone 5 through Best buy for 150 and you get 5000 reward points (worth $100 in Best buy credit) ..

Now i 'm back to the rethinking game... especially with the resale value iphones hold...

I apologize as I am not a frequent DDFer , Not sure if this is all old news but didnt see it in a few searches... Can anyone advise, or confirm , or add any input to the above.

You can find the Galaxy S3 on Verizon for $99 with an upgrade.

I heard Best Buy has the iphone 5 for $50 off right now. Not sure if it's on upgrades though or only new contracts.

Why would i get the upgrade through verizon as opposed to DEll / Best buy .. Is there any advantage of that ? Dell is offer $99 and 100 Gift Card? Am i missing something here ?

My bad, I thought it was $200 at Dell and then you get the gift card.

I was mistaken .. its $99 for new contract .. 149 to upgrade ... so basically the same as Iphone 5 deal at Best buy mobile
