Downloading Audio Files
« on: March 14, 2014, 11:23:06 AM »
I need some help.

I get audio files as email attachments which I save to my phone.  All was well until Google sent around some update in the last year.  Now, when the file downloads, it either disappears or is saved as "unknown" so I cannot sort or find a file.  I have tried everything.  I created another folder on my sd (where the files are actually found) card, deleted both and resaved, to no avail.  I have tried different audio players (Google's is sooo bad), with no luck.  Anyone?

Astro File Manager does seem to have the file correctly named but paying off that is a pan--no pause or use of other apps while playing.

I noticed the files have different extensions, could that be it?

I use beyondpod and treat the download folder as a podcast
