amex gold card points

So i signed up for the amex gold card to get the 15/30k points in july. i just now recieved my points- which btw i only recieved 15k not 30k. but thats not my problem.. heres the thing- i ordered 1k of coins to get my points cus i had a whole screw up and to make a long story short i ordered them twice and only the second time they went through and were shipped and never delivered b/c i was out of town at the time. than they got sent back to the company. my card is still showing that i owe 1000$ cus they had not credited me back yet- andi actually GOT my points. k so now is my question- my 3 months is over in like 4 days so i cant do the coins again to get my points- will tyeh take my points out and return them cus the 1000$ will be returned? or does it stay in my account? and another thing if i cancel the card can they take the points out? cus i have a blue card that my points will stay in my account even if i dont have that card... what is the smartest thing to do.

If you have the points then transfer them to the airline of your choice!

where do i transfer them to?? i just see that i have them on my amex page... combined with my blue points

any other ideas on how to keep my points w/o transferring them to an airline.. i dont wanna lose my points and im nervous if i take to long itll be gone... heeelppp!!

dunno if im sounding confusing but as soon as they refund my 1000$ purchase will they take my points back?? and if they will how can i save them that is the question. should i cancel my card?
