Which radar band do cops use in your area?

I bought Beltronics v995 a while back on the Radio Shack deal for under 80 bucks it doesn't compare to the Valentin but for that price it does the job I usually get about a quarter to half a mile morning on the Palisades Parkway where they shoot ka band

I got one during the same deal and it works just fine for me. There are lots of false alarms, but by now i know where they are.

Really helps when driving down Saddle River Road (Monsey/NJ) and the cops are parked on the side streets.

I just purchased the passport max 2 the range for Ka is at least a mile and it saved me at a speeding trap by the port authority at the verezano B Bound!
Im sure this device will pay off far more than its value Ill keep this forum posted
BTW it never goes off for blindsight radars

just a warning last week i saw a cop shooting laser on the 440 in SI it's a good thing i was going relatively slow then otherwise...

ETA I once saw a cop with k band i know it was from him because he turned in front of me and then turned around and the signal  was going up and down accordingly this was in colts neck NJ other than that i've only seen ka and be sure it's a cop
