Free bags for non-elite on mixed cabin award & first segment is coach?

Hopefully a very easy question for someone.  If I book SAN-SFO-LAX on UA on a 40k mile saver award one-way, will I get free bags if the flight to SFO is in coach (because there is no saver availability in biz class)?
