Booking Delta flights on el al website

I'm looking at a Delta flight offered on el al's website, there are three classes, economy, premium, business. Do those correspond to Delta's three seat categories? I'm only asking because the price for premium is much lower than the price for premium economy for this flight available on other websites.

you can always cancel in 24 hours  book and see what seat elal lets you select

I went through the booking process, elal doesn't let you select seats. If I complete the booking will I be able to then go to delta website and select seats there?

A relative has a flight booked through El Al, where this first segment is on Delta metal while the second is on El Al.
Any chance they can make adjustments to the first segment alone?
Their travel agent is telling them that neither airline is going to want to touch that segment.
Any thoughts or ideas of how to adjust that piece?

Don’t trust a travel agent to say that, it’s possibly hard and with a lazy agent… elal should be the one to deal with but they are what they are. Push the agent to do it, otherwise reach out themselves if it’s important.
