someone wrote "Note, when using Oneworld chart you must use (2) Oneworld carriers besides AA.
In some instances it is less miles to use the Oneworld chart but the above restriction apply"
whats that mean? im not always gona go to three countries, does this mean one cant do nyc on aa to bcn and bcn to tlv on iberia cause its only one ow partner besides aa? does this also apply to the partner chart?
someone wrote the following "AA and BA are not allowed to be partners by law for redeeming or earning on transatlantic flights to/from the US" does this mean that i could never book an award flight on aa using ba? could you give me another example where i wouldnt be able to use that partnership?
1. When using the OneWorld chart, you need to use 2 Oneworld airlines OTHER than A"A, so Iberia and AA would not qualify for a Oneworld award.
2. When using the Partner chart you don't need to use more than 1
3. You can NOT use BA miles on AA over the Atlantic or AA miles on BA over the Atlantic. You CAN however use either of them over the Atlantic if your are going to Canada or Mexico. The rule only applies to the USA
