Combining reservations
« on: February 20, 2014, 01:34:36 AM »
I am flying AA with a few friends on separate reservations and would like that everyone should be on the same reservation because I have the executive card and everyone that is on my reservation will get the benefits, is it possible to combine all reservations in one?

I wouldn't think it's a problem. On their terms it says free bags for people traveling with you. It doesn't say that it needs to be same PNR.

Do you think what you say or you say what you think?

I had a similar story. Just check-in together and explain to the agent that you're traveling together. It worked for me.

Your could call and have them 'link' the reservations. That way even if it's not one reservation they'd be connected to you for baggage, upgrades, etc.

I've done this with DL, AA, and UA (that I can remember).

I linked the reservations but they told me that the other passengers won't get my benefits.
