Relaxing beach vacation

Im looking to spend a couple of days on a beach vacation. I've narrowed it down to three options: Cancun, San jose Costa Rica , San Juan DR
I'd prefer low catagory hotels Marriot, IHG, SPG Hilton Etc and empty beautiful beaches.
which one from the above would be the best fit ?

You won't find relaxation in Cancun unless you stay in Riviera Maya

Cayman has a beautiful ritz. And someone here is a selling a 7 night stay for $1650 which comes out a steal at that hotel
