Amex theft warranty denied

My wifes ipad got stolen from car and was bought within 90 days with amex gold buissness.  They rejected claim and said that theft from car was exclusion- it seems that is for this card but not others that we had- who knew- any suggestions?  Frustration level is super high

Not much more you can do...

But, perhaps next time, read the T&Cs? These people aren't in the business of giving away money if they can help it.

Possibly the Platinum. But dunno about from a car.

Btw - Renters or Home owners insurance likely will cover a theft of personal item from a car.
