Hyatt Century City- Los Angeles, CA

I need to stay in the Hyatt Century Plaza in July but dont want to pay the $350 a night rate. Any other ideas?

of course. also keep in mind that these are actual certificates that are physically snail mailed, so leave ample time before the stay for it to arrive. i learned the hard way

Also, don't forget to make sure that if you're staying for more than one night that you can use the certs for all nights of your stay.

Well...spoke to Hyatt and for that location they dont accept the lowest 2 levels of certificates in that location.  So I asked about the higher ones which would still be a good deal.  She checked and said that the hotel only blocks a few rooms at any given time for the certificates and they are being used so nothing is accepted for my dates.

So I was left with no recourse on that end so I sure am glad that Dan chimed in and told me to try before I buy!  In the end, I got a group rate for 240 a night so I gotta do what I gotta do.  Let me know if you think/hear of anything else.
