Author Topic: Is it just me or are the modern LED headlights simply blinding? (Read 6605 times)

Maybe it's just me but lately when driving at night and a modern car with latest led headlights is oncoming I'm completely blinded. I'm not referring to people with their brights on I'm talking about the latest model cars that have these fancy shmancy led lights that somehow made it past all the inspections and onto the final product.

I find that it happens for oncoming traffic and also if the car behind me has them and I look in the mirror.

The older cars are fine so I don't think it's my eyes but these new ones are so dangerous imo.

Anyone else feel the same?

Agreed, they're amazing to have on your car but really annoying to have on other cars.

The worst are emergency vehicles. If they're coming at you on a dark road you basically need to shut your eyes and pray you don't drive into a tree.

Led has another draw-back drivers think their lights are on when its only the little nice led lights.

Not only do I dislike LEDs in cars, I also dislike many of them in houses. I'm not sure what it is but sometimes some people's houses are so brightly lit with LEDs it makes me dizzy. But also sometimes people have LEDs and it doesn't bother me at all.
