AA Close In Fee Question

What happens when you put an award on a five day hold at 23 days out? Can you pay for it at the original price or does the fee kick in automatically?

Ok. Sorry for the post. A second search yielded the answer. Yes the close in fee will be applied. Mods feel free to delete this thread.
