Usually programs have it at hotels that go for $150 a night
They charge max 15k for a couple for basic foom.
St regis basic room goes for under $1000 and even cheaper with having a bulk amount
Why couldn't they charge 25k a couple ?

I don’t know this industry but that seems exorbitant for a basic room.

Four Seasons Whistler is a 5 star program at a hotel that costs well north of $150/night and the base room cost less than $15K a couple.

This may be a shock but the St. Regis Bal Harbour, while it is a very nice hotel especially for the area, it is very far from the nicest hotels in the world, that would actually justify a $40k price tag. You'd be looking at whole resorts being rented out at that price.

This week is available.
This weekend is available.

Seems they are playing room release games. Seems that only Deluxe 1 king Ocean View is available on points and they seem to withhold or are out of that room for many dates.

Some hotels started playing games by renaming multiple room types as in Ocean front, Ocean views and higher floor.
Always praying for delayed baggage.

Ok, i'm paying more than .7 a point here. But I'll pay more if it means so. I just need a guy who can open the room for me.
