I wouldnt call it lying they just say they cant give it because it costs them to much as their suites belong to residents
Well, they say they cant because their contract with the residences don't allow it.
In reality they can but their internal hotel policy doesn't allow it because it costs them, although Marriott T&C doesn't have exceptions for the scenario they face.

Huh?
Residents and hotel suites are not intermingled AFAIK.

The claim is true, they sell hotel suites to residents. But once they're sold they're not rented out.
I stayed in one via Airbnb, it was certainly in no condition to be rented out as a hotel room. Bit of a nightmare really.

Didn't used to be that way.
I was there this weekend when there was ample suite upgrade availability and I put up a big fight, to no avail.

They didn't allow for late check out, even though they could have easily accommodated.

They threw a checkout letter at room door informing of no contact check out. The letter was not in an envelope or even personally addressed.

Their service and communication overall, sucked.

The most I was given was a waived resort fee, but even that was tough.

The rooms are St Regis rooms while service is at a Residence Inn at best.

Huh?
Residents and hotel suites are not intermingled AFAIK.
They have private residences in the hotel tower.
Not sure if its cross used, they claim it is.

Wow. What a letdown!
Tried tweeting to Marriott?

I stayed in an oceanfront luxe Airbnb in the hotel tower. It was nothing like the hotel rooms and certainly couldn't be rented out as one.
But maybe they do maintain some unlike that.

Never had Marriott do a thing (with 0 followers), so didn't try this time.

My interactions were with the front desk Manager named Anna.

While I was busy with her there were other guests complaining as well, it really showed.

It was really a let down.
I don't enjoy paying for a *5 service and getting a *1.
The butler costume doesn't entice me, its the service that does. All it was the the costume with 0 service!

I do plan on emailing  the GM, but the front desk manger told me its the hotels policy's that tie her hands, basically she would accommodate but its the people above her that don't allow.

At the end of the day, for many, just the rooms and location justify the stay.

Does the airBnB at SRBH include access to the pools and other resort amenities?

I paid 70k for a night on friday  December 25th and then a few days later when saturday  December 26th opened up booked that as well but they charged me 100k points  the cash price on the website was the same for both nights so I was wondering why it was priced differently in points if the cash price was the same

The way SOME suites work usually the 2Bedroom + is they sell them
once that person owns it he can give it back to the hotel to make money back

every time someone stays there they get paid I think $500 a night min.
that definitely explains why they don't want to upgrade to a 2 bedroom or 4 bedroom

but def doesn't explain the 1 bedroom suite why they are so tough.

I have emailed the GM  in early Nov. He didnt seem to care much and provide no such upgrades/exceptions. Upholds the current policy as is. Dont waste your breath.

Agree, but there is a  need for people letting them know that we are not happy, is important.

Another point, I believe the GM is from the W and transferred over in Q1 2020. They were never that nice there.
