Thanks!! It seems a bit more expensive but that's comparing it to the American version. I'll have to find out around how much it goes for in Israel.

I was once at an apartment in Israel that actually had built-in Kosher lamps over the beds (swivel shade) and they are from before these even existed.

everythings more in israel compared to america

cept.... well i know a few things but nothing that wud make a dent in ur life. anyhow... my friends father actually started these and she used to sell them, but than her father sold the company- so she doesnt sell them anymore... So i used to be able to get them at cost price- which isnt so cheap btw...

Darn- for some reason it's not letting my order go through. It keeps saying my teudat zehut number isn't right! Oh well! Maybe I'll just try ordering one from a store directly and see if they will ship it!

just update- i happened to be in a cheaper end store and they were selling the lamp there for 140 nis (i think.. or 150?) and that was a cheap kollel store. so yes 179 looks a bit pricey- but seems its prob the standard price here...

They have these in bingo of their own brand on sale this week for about $19...Seemed pretty decent.
